  10. CMS. Muon chambers CIEMAT developed a layer of the CMS muon drift chambers.

  11. ROB ROS CMS. Electronics CIEMAT coordinates the overall electronics of the CMS muon drift chambers since 1995. Elaborates the design and construction of the read-out electronics (ROB, ROS) and its mechanics. Muon drift tube chamber Minicrate

The LINK alignment system • Must establish relative coordinates between the inner detector at CMS • (Tracker) and the muon detectors in the Barrel and EndCap • Detectors are inter-connected via laser beams. Beams define six •  - planes, one each 60º.   13. Accelerators • The Superconductivity group started in 1989 and their activities include magnets for particle accelerators, kinetic energy storage, and superconductivity technology research. • In addition Ciemat has launched a special program to extend these activities to other fields of accelerator • A group of people is training at CERN who are contributing to LHC commissioning.
