  2. Students from 12 to 18 years old. Compulsory education (12-16 year-olds): 1st ESO 2nd ESO 3rd ESO 4th ESO Batxillerat (Bachelor, 16-18 year-old): 1st Batxillerat 2nd Batxillerat

  4. Vocational Studies PREVOCATIONAL STUDIES – Plumbing VOCATIONAL STUDIES 1 – HVAC-R (Heating, Ventilation, Air-conditioning and refrigeration) VOCATIONAL STUDIES 2 – (Heating, Ventilation, Arir-conditionint and refrigeration )

  5. There is a group of students with disabilities. They have special rooms next to the rest of students , although they have specific subjects and activities. They learn and practice music , cooking, sports(swimming), arts and also have a Physiotherapist. They coexist with students in ESO and Baxillerat. Disabled students

  8. Our school started the programme in 2005-06 in the 1st cycle of ESO. Ever since then the results have been enriching both for pupils and teachers that have participated in the programme We are continuing the project next this year in all levels: - 1st ESO Music - 2nd ESO Theatre - 3rd ESO Arts - 4th ESO Arts When did we start?

  9. Widen our student’s English knowledge and make the student believe he / she can use the 2nd language independently. Stimulate their curiosity! Learn the contents of the subject area Make pupils realize how important the learning of English is in our society. What are our objectives?

Practical resources – the 4 language learning skills are used (speaking, listening, writing, reading) We work on projects Dynamic lessons that stimulate class participation We usually have an English language assistant 1 hour per week and per group. S/he collaborates with the teacher to carry out speaking activities in the classroom. This year, this assistant also works in another school, so she can work only with the groups included in the European sections programme. How do we teach?

  14. EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES The school has participated in different Comenius projects. Students in 2n ESO travel to the Pirynees to learn about life and nature there. Students in 3r ESO have an exchange programme with a High School in Catalonia, where cycling is the key of the project. Students in Vocational Studies have received Leonardo and Erasmus grants to travel to Italy, Finland and others. More information at iesjmquadrado.cat
