What do reviewers look for? • Faculty members review applications and look for: • Solid academic achievement • Minimum 3.2 GPA or higher • GRE scores in the 85-100 percentile • Recommendation letters from faculty • Ability to express yourself precisely, without errors • Ph.D. application or evidence of Ph.D. consideration after Master’s • Other factors considered: • Undergraduate experience in research or internship • Evidence of leadership • Awareness of research being conducted at Purdue • Curiosity, intensity, reliability, maturity, interest in learning www.purdue.edu/engr
