Affordability: a key incentive Continuing Student Performance Fellowships Awards given in recognition of academic performance and to financially motivate students who intend to complete the program in an accelerated manner. Master’s DegreeStudents Eligible to receive a $1,000 award up to four times during the MSTM program. Certificate Students Eligible to receive a $500.00 award up to two times during the CTM program.
Distance Learning Classes are delivered by two way video-conferencing using the latest web casting technologies Classes are available at SJSU and Caltrans District Offices Missed classes may be monitored via the World Wide Web
Master of Science in Transportation Management MSTM • Requirements -Degree from an accredited college/university -Desirable: -3.0 GPA -500 GMAT -TOEFL (if undergraduate degree program was in a language other than English)
Graduate Certificate inTransportationManagementCTM For students not ready to pursue the master’s program, but who are committed to furthering their transportation careers Requirements: -Degree from an accredited college or university -No minimum GPA -No GMAT
Accelerated Format • Earn your Master of Science in a little over two years, concurrent with full-time employment • Take one course at a time, one night per week for each 10 class sessions • Classes are offered twice in the Fall Session and twice in the Spring Session. Summer electives are to be determined

Frequently Asked Questions Should I send my transcripts? -Sending unofficial transcripts can accelerate the application process, however, proof of your undergraduate degree is needed. Can the GRE or LSAT be substituted for the GMAT? -No Do I have to take the GMAT if I already have a Master’s Degree? -Yes
Frequently Asked Questions Can I transfer units from the CTM into the MSTM? -Yes. Nine units may be transferred from the CTM into the MSTM provided all MSTM admissions requirements met. What hours do classes meet? -Usually from 5:30pm to 9:30pm, weekly
