  2. Hydrogenation Skid Equipment Description: • The skid is located in an explosion proof room Class-I Div-2 and capable to handle class C&D solvent. A special arrangement is made to handle hydrogen. The equipment skid is equipped with: • 20L SS-316L High Pressure Reactor from Parr Inst. Company, maximum design pressure is 1000psi. • Air driven motor for agitation • Cooling/Heating coil as well as welded jacket. If required jacket can be made operational. • Different instruments as Taco meter, Flow switch, pressure transmitter, control valve, rupture disc, relief valve, pressure gauges, solenoid valve, and Hydrogen Pressure regulator manifold. • Two catalyst filters with particles retaining capacity up to 18 μm and 3μm respectively are mounted on skids in series. One additional portable catalyst filter unit with particle retaining capacity up to 0.2 μm is available and can be installed in series with other two filters if needed. • Whole unit is PLC controlled and can operate in semi-auto or manual mode as required. Note:At present all the instruments are capable to handle the maximum pressure up to 100psi but skid can be made operational for pressure as high as 1000psi by further modification if required.

Hydrogenation Skid Major Benefits of a Hydrogenation Skid • Skid is located in explosion proof room R#215A. • Hydrogen cylinders and pressure regulator station is located outside the building. • Installed orifice in the hydrogen supply line restricts the excess hydrogen flow in case any major leaks. • The whole unit is PLC controlled can be operated in semi-auto or manual as required. Safety interlocks prevents any uncontrolled process to happen. • In case of emergency unit can be bring into shutdown mode simply by hitting the emergency button. • Any un expected release of material during the process will be captured into sand trap on the roof top. • If required material can be filtered up-to a 0.2 micron level using separate filtration unit. • Equipment is ideal for optimization as well as scale-up purpose.

  4. Ozonolysis Skid

  5. Ozonolysis Skid Equipment Description: • Ozonolysis skid is CSA approved unit located in Room#215A. It comprises of 6ft high and 3”dia. SS-316 column packed with Raschig rings, two metering pumps, ozone destruction unit, and portable as well as fixed storage vessels. • Ozone generator in conjunction with air compressor and oxygen generator are located in Room#216. Building glycol and separate Lauda chiller (In Room#216) are being used for cooling purpose. It can process up to 40kg of oil in a day. • Skid is equipped with different safety instruments as ozone sensors, temperature sensors, pressure transmitter, safety relief valves and temperature control valve. • The Ozonolysis column is 6ft high and 3”dia. Packed column with Raschig ring. Operation is carried out in counter current fashion ideal for gas-liquid reaction. • All the associated utilities equipments are placed in Room#216 Specification: • Metering pumps: • Oil Pump: 2.2kg/hr • Solvent pump: 12kg/hr • Ozone generator: 0.4kg/hr (Oxygen as Feed) • Fixed vessel working volume: 70L

Ozonolysis Skid Major Benefits of an Ozonolysis Skid • The skid is located in explosion proof room( Class-I Div-2 ) and capable to handle class C&D solvent. • Unit is PLC controlled and mounted on skid itself. • Process safety interlocks prevents any uncontrolled process parameters and to the extreme it will shutdown the whole process. • Ozone sensors( 0-1 ppm) are mounted on skid itself and close proximity to ozone generator in Room 216. • In case of emergency unit can be put into safe mode by simply hitting the emergency button located on skid itself. • Rupture disc prevent any personal injury or equipment damage in case of explosion within the equipment and any release of material will be collected into sand trap placed on the roof top. • Skid is ideal for scale-up process

  7. Wiped Film Evaporator Skid

  8. Wiped Film Evaporator Skid Equipment Description: • It is a 6” SS-316 WFE unit manufactured by POPE Scientific Inc located in Room#215A. Specifications: • 6” Wiped Film Evaporator with glass filled Teflon wipers and surface area of2.36 sq.ft • A gear pump for product (Heavy product) and two diaphragm pumps for distillate (Light product) and feed. • A packed column with approximately 16 theoretical plates and controlled reflux capabilities is mounted on top of the unit. • Unit is equipped with several temperature sensors, pressure transmitter and safety interlocks in case of any emergency arise during the process run. • A stand alone Hot-Oil and chiller unit are located in Room# 216. WFE unit: • Ideal for processing temperature sensitive material as Fragrances, neutraceuticals, polymer and etc. • It can be used for distillation, evaporation, concentration, separation, purification and deodorization.

  9. Wiped Film Evaporator Skid Three mode configuration: • Wiped film Evaporator • Molecular steel • Hybrid fractionation distillation column( 16 theoretical plates with pro-pack packing. Design capacity: • Feed Pump: 30 LPH (Max.) • Oil Temperature: Up to 500ºF • Pressure (Vacuum): < 0.5 mmHg Major Benefits of a Wiped Film Evaporator: • Short residence time (liquid is on the hot surface for seconds) • Operate Under High Vacuum (reduced operating temperature) • Excellent Heat Transfer (process film is continuously agitated) • Handle Viscous Fluids (wipers pump liquid down & provide thin film) • Handle Dirty/Fouling Fluids (wipers continuously agitate film) • No Bottom Steady Bearing (wipers effective at low speed )
