  1. Call for Comments on ORCHIDs(draft-laganier-ipv6-khi-05.txt) • Relates to the HIP experiment from HIP WG/RG • Proposes the allocation of a /28 from IPv6 address space for “identifiers” that will be used on socket API instead of regular addresses on experimenting hosts • Long-term plan is to upgrade the API, but running the experiments is easier with “vanilla” applications. • Two issues: meta-experiment allows for multiple uses of this allocation & leakage in v6 slots (SDP, URIs) • OTOH we need experimentation in this space • Ongoing IETF Last Call discussion at ietf@ietf.org
