Thursday 19th February. All Year Groups. Chinese New Year On Thursday 19 th February we will be celebrating Chinese New Year. The Sport and Health Captains and the Community Involvement class have been busy preparing the Fuel Zone. The menu that day will include some themed meals including:

  2. All Year Groups Chinese New Year On Thursday 19th February we will be celebrating Chinese New Year. The Sport and Health Captains and the Community Involvement class have been busy preparing the Fuel Zone. The menu that day will include some themed meals including:  Chicken Noodle Soup Chicken Chow Mein Vegetable Fried Rice Spring Rolls Pineapple Fritters Hope to see you there!

  3. All Year Groups Lunchtime Arrangements We will continue to implement the lunchtime arrangements. S1-4 will be asked to move outside between 1 and 1.15pm to enjoy some fresh air. S5/6 will be allowed to use the pond area. Please ensure you see any teacher you need to during the 1st part of lunch and use the toilets before 1pm as you will not be allowed into the building during those 15minutes. Pupils attending Clubs should make sure they are in the classroom before 1pm. Mr Anderson

S5/6 Parents Evening On Wednesday 25th February your parents are invited to Parents Evening to discuss your progress, prelim results, attitude behaviour etc. The careers advisor, the employability officer and the Advanced Higher Hub will also be in attendance to provide extra information on careers, colleges, University, SAAS funding etc. Please make sure you get appointments from your teachers. You will also get your reports and Options information on Friday. Career Appointments Could the following pupils please register at tutor time then make their way to the Library to collect an appointment card for today’s career appointments:

  7. S5/6 Supported Study Supported Study is on tonight Please take advantage of this as it is there to help you improve your results. Scotland Goes Global workshop Could the pupils, participating in the Scotland Goes Global workshop today, please register with period 5 teacher and make your way to Mrs Albarracin’s room. The list is on the attached document… Women into Engineering City of Glasgow College are hosting a 3-day Open Event for S4-6 female pupils interested in engineering. If you would like more information please see Miss McWaters ASAP.

  8. S5/6 Leavers Hoodies Hoodies are now on sale. The price for the normal college and girlie hoodies is £22 The varsity and super bright hoodies are £25. On the Hoodie you can either get your own name printed or get a nickname. The sizes that are available are: College Hoodie XS – 34' / S - 36' / M - 40' / L - 44' / XL - 48' / XXL - 52' / 3XL - 56' / 4XL - 60' / 5XL - 64' Girlie Hoodie XS – 8 / S - 10 / M - 12 / L - 14 / XL - 16 / XXL - 18 Varsity S - 36' / M - 40' / L - 44' / XL - 48' / XXL - 52' Superbright S - 36' / M - 40' / L - 44' / XL - 48' / XXL - 52‘ The colours of the Hoodies can be found on the following website or by the colour chart situated on the captaincy board outside the assembly hall. http://www.justhoods.eu Payments will be taken by Sean and Zahrah in Mrs Johnston’s office at lunch from Monday 23rd of February to Wednesday the 4th of March. The payment is a one off and all orders must be completed by the 4th of March.

S2 Go 4 Set A reminder that the following Go 4 Set pupils are visiting a recycling facility today. You will have an early lunch (12.15- 12.30) and you will miss periods 5 and 6 but will return to school for period 7. Make sure you bring your jotters etc for Period 7.
