  2. Section A The library is a place where you can . . . • find a good reading book • get help doing research • use computers / study • check books in and out • request books • read a newspaper or magazine • make photocopies

  3. Section B • The librarian, Mrs. Reiswig, is available to help you with any kind of work in the library. She was an English teacher at EGHS for 10 years and loves to read. • Mrs. Averitt and Mrs. McCann can also help with any questions you have in the library, and they are both really cool. If you forget their names look at their pictures above the circulation counter.

  4. Section C -- Computers • All students at Elk Gove High have their own computer account. • To access your account you need: • Username = your I.D. number • Password = one that you make and remember • You can open your account from any computer on campus and save your work to your account. • If you forget your password, only the computer techs can reset your account. This may take 1 or 2 days! Then you make a new password. It’s yours until you graduate!

  5. How to Set-Up Your Account • Press CTRL + ALT + DELETE • Type your I.D. number for username • Type Passw0rd(P is capital, 0 is zero) • You will be asked to make a personal password. It must have a capital, a lower case, and a number or symbol. It has to be at least 7 spaces and not contain your name. • Once you’ve created it, write it on your answer sheet and in your binders. You are REQUIRED to remember it until you graduate! • You CAN NOT use a computer without it.
