  7. Køge Site - Facts The Køge site is situated 40 KM or 25 miles south of Copenhagen. Total site is 280,000 m2 Total headcount is 340 people • Hourly workers: 180 • Salaried: 160 Operation; 24 hours per day - all year

  8. Køge Site - History in short 1934 Founded by Sadolin & Holmblad A/S, Coatings and Inks Manufacturer. First Buildings constructed. Initial products were pigments. 1946 KVK founded as a legal entity within the Sadolin Group. 1950 Pesticides production begins. 1976 Biological effluent treatment plant installed. First spray dryer unit (for Pigment) commissioned

  9. Køge Site - History in short 2 1989 Casco Nobel acquires the Sadolin Group and sells KVK to KVK Holding (Management Buy Out). Technical Support by Sun Chemical. Pesticides production starts to phase out. 1990 3 x 500 Gallon Flushers installed. 1992 Sun Chemical takes over KVK. 1994 Aqueous Dispersion, Mixers, Mills installed.
