Course Objectives : • Identifying the modern art movements and artist groups that help in appearance of postmodern art or Contemporary art. • Studying the art styles of the postmodern or Contemporary art movements and the most famous artists . • Understanding and analyzing the art styles of the postmodern art, and the identifying of the historical context of artworks.

  4. Course Description: • Definition of the contemporary art or, postmodern contemporain artIncluding art movements and groups, denotes the style and philosophy of the art produced in West countries after the sixties of the twentieth century during that era and extends up to the present time • Study of modernism and postmodernism, optical Art, Neo Dadaismem, Pop art, Performance art, body art, digital art, New Classicism  , Conceptual art, minimalism

  5. Way of evaluation The course grade is 100 in total in a final evaluation committee with three examiners Attendance: (10) Mid term and assignments: (30) Final evaluation: (60) Total = 100
