Vulval cancer which is commonly diagnosed in aged women is a type of cancer that occurs on the outer surface area of female genitals. The vulva is that area of the skin that surrounds the urethra and vagina. Most of the women who experience vulval intraepithelial neoplasia (VIN) do not have symptoms. The VIN area sometimes becomes thicker and lighter than the normal vulval skin. Sometimes the women may experience lump or sore on the valve that often causes itching. The VIN area may become red or dark than the normal skin colour. Since there are no other symptoms at the initial level, some women fail to realize that they might have a serious health issue.
