Weekly Schedule Mondays *On Campus Activities Art Enrichment: All grades Spanish: 2nd-7th Grades Jonesboro Library Traveling Storyteller: Pk-K Daily Rotations: All grades *Pizza Day Bring $3.00 instead of bringing a lunch. *Daily Rotations: All grades Tuesdays *Swim and Picnic Day: All grades Jonesboro City Pool Bus leaves at 9:30 for 2nd-6th and returns by 1:30 Bus leaves at 10:00 for Prek-1st and returns by 12:30 *Cooking/Math Enrichment: 2nd-7th grades *Daily Rotations: All grades Wednesday *Craighead County Library Story Time/Picnic Ages: PreK-2nd Grade Parker Park Bus leaves at 9:15 and returns by 12:15 *Hollywood Summer Movie Series Ages: 2nd-7th grade Bus leaves at 9:20 and returns depending on the length of movie *Chicken Strips, Fries, and Toast Dairy Queen Bring $3.00 instead of bringing a lunch. *Science Enrichment: All grades *Daily Rotations: All grades Thursdays *Sports Activity Period: All grades *Skating/Bowling Ages: 2nd-7th grade Bus leaves at 12:30 and returns around 3:30 *McDonald's Burgers, chips, and dessert Bring $3.00 instead of bringing a lunch. *Spanish Enrichment: 1st Grade *Daily Rotations: All grades Fridays *Field Trips Ages: PreK - 6th Grade Refer to calendar for field trip schedule !!Students MUST be on time for field trips!! A staff member will stay behind with students who are late. **Schedule subject to change (changes posted on website)

Lunch • Lunch not provided- Students must bring lunch • Drinks provided • Monday- Pizza Day… Bring $3 cash • Wednesday- Chicken Strip Day… Bring $3 cash • Thursday- Hamburger/Chips Day… Bring $3 cash • We can’t heat or refrigerate lunches • Put frozen drink bottle in lunch bag • Put Ziploc ice bag in lunch container • Lunches must have foods from 4 food groups • Charge if Excel provides lunch $5
Snacks • Provided twice a day • Students will be offered snacks from at least two different food groups each day.
Backpacks Please send a backpack or bag with your child each day. Students will have projects and activities to keep up with, and for parent/teacher communication.
Fieldtrips Day • Permission slip MUST be signed • See calendar for schedule • Check bus departure times!!!!
Swim & Waterpark Days • Permission slip MUST be signed • Jonesboro City Pool • Private swimming with certified lifeguards and supervising adults • Wear swimsuit and sunscreen to school • Bring dry clothes • Bring towel & sunscreen • PUT NAME ON ALL ITEMS
Drop-off Procedure • Students may be signed-in at the playground awning before 8:45 • Do not drop-off/ pick-up through main doors by office • Parents must sign students in • If checking students in after 8:45- check the schedule on the kioskfor their class’ location • Students may be signed in or out at any time • Radios- On kiosk, use to locate classes • A staff member will be in gym lobby to direct parents 3:00-5:00
Pick-up Procedure • Students must be signed out • ID MUST be shown when signing out • If someone other than designated people are picking up, we MUST have a note • Students may be signed-out in the gym or on the playground after 5:00 • Do not use drop-off/ pick-up through main doors by office • If picking up students before 3:00 check schedule on the kiosk to locate your child’s group or see staff member in lobby • Students may be signed in or out at any time • Students MUST be picked up by 6:00- Fees will be assessed to account for late pick-up

Camp Transportation • The Excel Program will provide transportation to and from on-campus summer camps. • Students will be driven to the camp, then back to Excel. • Care will be provided to students who miss fieldtrips due to camps. • $10 per camp per child • To provide transportation to and from camps Excel has hired extra staff to walk students and to stay at school with those who miss Excel trips. Due to the extra cost of this service, there is a $10 fee for each camp transportation is provided. • Must give advanced notice • Must complete a form
Tuition • All fees for the program are due on the first week day of the current week or monthly on the first of each month. • Your check should note your child’s name. • Billing System • Email, text • Monthly statements • Fees will be collected in the kiosk located by the gym. • You MUST get a receipt for cash. • Make checks payable to Excel Program. • Bill Pay is accepted.

Tuition • Credit will not be given for absences. • Students who are enrolled the entire summer receive 1 week vacation. • You are obligated to pay for all the days your child is registered to attend each month regardless of whether or not your child attends.
Tuition • Late Pickup Fees • Any child picked up after 6:00 will be charged a late pickup fee. It is $10 for every 15 minute period beginning at 6:01. This fee is due with the following week’s tuition. • Return Check Policy • Any checks returned for insufficient funds will be assessed a $25.00 additional fee. • On accounts assessed more than two returned checks in a 12 month period checks will no longer be accepted • Late Fee Charges • A $10 late fee will be added to tuition not paid by Friday at 6:00 p.m. of the current week. These fees are due with payment that week. Any fee becoming 10 days delinquent will necessitate removal of the child/children from the program.
Medication • Excel Program staff members prefers not administer any medication to the students (with the exception of Tylenol if permission is given on medical forms). • If your child needs to take medication during the program hours, YOU must make arrangements with directors. • Students may not carry their own or other medication to the program. • Students are permitted to store an inhaler for asthma or an Epi-Pen at the site provided the inhaler and/or Epi-Pen is in its original box with instructions and a prescription label.

Electronics Policy • Students may not use cell phones while at Excel. Electronics brought to Excel may only have games rated E for Everyone. If a child has an electronic devise with material deemed inappropriate by Excel staff, or if a child’s takes pictures or videos with the device, the device will be taken up and given to the parent at the end of the day. If a student’s device is taken up twice they may no longer have electronics at Excel. • Electronics may only be played during designed times!
Withdrawal Procedure Notification of withdrawal must be given in writing two weeks in advance. If notification is not given tuition will continue to be charged for the two-week period.
Miscellaneous Information • Information Board • Although we will send emails when detailed information is needed, for daily information there will be a board posted at the playground gate or gym door with daily messages and reminders • Communication • If you are not receiving emails or texts PLEASE let us know- this is how we communicate. Notes aren’t always effective. • Change of Clothes • Please send an extra set of clothes for you child, we will return them the last day of the summer program. • Mats • Students going into 1st grade are responsible for bringing nap mats, those will also be returned the last day of the summer program.
