Rowan&&Martin • Rowan&&Martin was a popular television show in 1969 it was a comedy show that have everyone laughing and The show was characterized by a rapid-fire series of gags and sketches, many of which conveyed sexual innuendo or were politically charged. The co-hosts continued the exasperated straight man (Rowan) and "dumb" guy (Martin) act which they had established as nightclub comics. This was a continuation of the "dumb Dora" acts of vaudeville, best popularized by Burns and Allen . Rowan and Martin had a similar tag line, "Say goodnight, Dick".

Editorial • As I was researching about how things were in 1969 I thought it was very peaceful because I mean back then you could get some snacks or go to the movies for like only 50cents and now that, that is all past the future is just TOO expensive because if you want to go to the movie you and for just only one person you have to pay like $10.00 dollar and the way people dress I really liked it because I like dressing up just to dress up and the clothes the women wore where very pretty. I wish I was born in the 60s but things don’t always come out the way you want but as for the cars they were very fancy I guess because that 69 mustang that was a beauty it was fast as I don’t know what.
