Considerations and Questions • Why the project is needed and how will it be of benefit? What specific action steps will I take to accomplish the objective(s)? • Who else will I need to get engaged because they have a role to play in my project’s success? • What timeline will I hold myself accountable to complete this project?
Considerations and Questions • What obstacles do I anticipate in achieving success for each step and how will I overcome them? Repeatedly review these guiding words to assist you to develop your action plan: What will I do, where will I take these actions, how will I do it, by what date, and why I am taking this action? WHO-, WHAT- WHERE-, HOW- WHY …?
Considerations and Questions • What will be done if a budget is granted? (Discuss how the project is to be conducted and the approach to be taken including the anticipated length of the grant period). • How will the effects and quality of the project be determined? (Describe how the project will be evaluated, including evaluation criteria, in relation to the goals and objects of the project
Considerations and Questions • How will others find out about the project and be able to use the results? (Describe the outputs that will result, the degree to which they will be applicable to similar organizations, and the manner in which the outputs and results of the project will be disseminated).
Friendly Reminders • You know the end “canalized” • Be a “sponge” , no pre-judgment, • Acknowledge sources – book, documents, speech, interview, etc • Everything should matter – “pampakapal” • Be logical
