  2. Habitat Live on The island of Madagascar of The coast of Africa Forest, from dry wood lands to forest Most spend their time in trees and bushes ring tail spends most of it’s time on ground No because they live on the ground or in trees

Appearance Long pointy noise excellent sense of smell Flexible toes and fingers Like a small monkey with long, strong rear legs, a long tail and for ward facing parallel eyes color black and white black and red black and grey brown 15/18 long tail 20/25 4/8 lbs Tails help balance when leap from tree to tree It is a primate which means its related to apes and humans

  4. Eating Habits Plants and young insects Tapes the tree with its long fingers if it hears a hollow spot it knows bugs might be under the bark to find out the aye/aye bites in to the tree its sharp teethes rip open a hole then it uses its long fingers to scoop up the insects yummy; Omnivore

Behaviors and Interesting Facts Big lemurs have one babysmall lemurs have more than 1 or 4 babies They hide there babies or attack as a group mostly they ovoid them Hibernate or migrate no They use smell to communicate and they have sent on the bottom of there feet to leave odors other smell Tails wave in the communication Typical lemur like ring-tailed are large and noisy living in social groups
