Connection OpportunitiesStudent programs that connect students to alumni • 30-Minute Mentors (Bringing Alumni to Students) • Spend 30 mins. with an alumnus in a field of choice • Ask questions you might not otherwise ask • Held at the Alumni Center • Alumni NetWorks(Virtual Alumni-Student Mentoring) • Alumni volunteer to be contacted as mentors

  5. Enhancing Campus LifeMaking College More Enjoyable • Welcome Wednesdays • Approximately 29,000 visits last school year! • Will be holding 22 Welcome Wednesdays this year, up from 19! • Sponsorship opportunities • Free Blue Books

Transitioning to the Real WorldHelping Students Prepare for Next Stage in Life • Real Life 101 What Will You Become? • Series of seminars throughout school year • Past topics include; Leadership, Entrepreneurs, Uncharted Careers • Student Business Cards • Order online (February) • Get 30 at a time

Moving Beyond MichiganWhy “Membership”? • Free one-year membership upon graduating, plus two more years at a discounted rate • Membership is good for everyone! • Supports student programming & alumni programming • Members are more likely to be donors and remain involved with and connected to campus • One third of our budget comes from membership dues

Collaboration Opportunities • Welcome Wednesday sponsorships • Open only to U-M affiliated departments • Previously sponsored by Hillel, University Unions, UHS, and UMS • AAUM involvement and support of your events and programs • We can help with anything from marketing to space to content • AAUM is always open to learning about other collaboration opportunities • Mentors and Speakers
