  2. Life Span • They live 10 to 20 years. How they communicate They are most active in the morning and evening.

  3. Where they live • Grasslands and wetlands in Africa. What they eat They eat rodents, frogs, fish and birds. Reaction towards humans They are bread with domestic cats.

  4. Family life • The mothers raise their kittens alone. They have one-three kittens. Hunting and finding food They can dig out rodents, pounce on frogs, and leap up and catch birds. Do they carry diseases No, they do not carry diseases.

  5. How they defend themselves Their coat helps them hide, they have big claws and teeth for fighting What they are known for Their large, round, dish like ears. Are they food for humans? Are they hunted by humans? Why? They are hunted by humans. They are hunted for their pelt.

  6. What is the species group • The species group is Mammal Are they Predators or Prey They are both predator and prey What they look like They look like baby cheetahs with big ears.

  7. Fun facts Their ears can rotate individually! They can leap one meter in the air! They love water! They look like baby cheetahs! Their ears are huge!
