DIY Steps • Identify the data sources. • Establish direct links to those data sources extracting data to intermediate files. • Map data into PIES terminology and reformat to match PIES requirements. • Generate PIES xml from the processed source data. • Provide some means of tracking changes from every file delivered. • Each receiver has different requirements - Customer specific part numbers (brands), product attributes, pricing, languages, etc. • Some customers request flat files with PIES data in various formats.
