Riverside and National Monument. Art Museum. In the early 1950’s,a group of artist formed the Riverside Art Association. The building which was built in 1929, is located at the corner of Mission Inn Avenue and Lime Street.

Art Museum • In the early 1950’s,a group of artist formed the Riverside Art Association. • The building which was built in 1929, is located at the corner of Mission Inn Avenue and Lime Street. • This building is very special because the famous architect, Julia Morgan, designed it for the YWCA. • In 1967 they bought the YWCA building to use it as an art center because they needed more room.
City Hall • The old City Hall is located at Seventh and Orange street. • The new building was dedicated on October 6, 1975, and is located between Ninth and Tenth street. • The old city hall is an historical landmark because of its beautiful architecture. • The new city hall’s modern uses arches to symbolize Riverside’s Spanish and Mexican heritage.
Lincoln Memorial • The Lincoln Memorial is in Washington D.C. • The Abraham Lincoln statue is 19-feet (5.8-meters). • They built the Lincoln Memorial, because they honor him.
