Tundra. Alaska, Northern Canada, Greenland, S candinavia, Russia, Antarctic Islands. Location. The tundra is a bleak, treeless place. The climate is cold and dry. There is a brief summer with nearly constant sunlight, and a long, dark, cold winter. The temperature rarely gets above 50°F. .
