RSIC Survey is extremely versatile, allowing end-users to easily create, deploy and manage their own digital form applications. • All illustrations in this document are in the same format, giving a summary of a problem the client is facing, followed by how the problem was solved, using RSIC Survey. • Please contact RSIC if you wish to learn more about what RSIC Survey could do for you:RSIC B.V.Hoge Rijndijk 88K2313KL LeidenThe NetherlandsTel : +31-71-5680965Fax : +31-71-5680966E-mail :sales@rsic.mobi

  4. Field Service Work • ProblemOrganization has field personnel reporting situations that need attention regarding service or maintenance in different sites. Organization is looking for a low-cost solution that requires no integration to standardize the reporting process. • SolutionRSIC Survey template is created, allowing for optional insertion of a situational photograph and recording of the exact location of the incident, using GPS. The template used also has the necessary date and text fields for classification of the incident. All recorded data is sent to a central E-mail address in PDF format, allowing for easy viewing, processing and further management of all reported incidents. Screenshots:

  5. Client Interviews • ProblemOrganization performs customer satisfaction interviews for several clients using field personnel. Situations range from short interviews with users of public transport, visitors to commercial events and locations, random street interviews, etc. Organization is looking for a flexible solution that allows for easy creation of questionnaires for different projects and future possibilities for integration. • SolutionBy implementing RSIC Survey the organization can effectively perform all required tasks, creating different templates for each different project. All gathered data is sent to the office in .XML format which allows for easy further processing. Screenshots:

  6. Real Estate • ProblemLarge real estate broker firm uses an two-step process for assessing new objects for potential business. In the first step a broker visits the location for a short intake procedure. If this intake procedure is succesful and the particular object is of interest, follow up action is made. The firm was looking for a way to automate this intake process. • SolutionA simple RSIC Survey template was made to accommodate the intake process, employing both photograph and GPS functions. Gathered data is reported to the office in PDF format for further action and record keeping. Screenshots:

  7. Statistical Field Work • ProblemA statistical research firm is specialized in demographic field research for clients, ranging from government organizations to organizers of large events and operators of large public venues. Field work most often involves counting of persons, objects or events. Organization is looking for a solution to perform this work and make results available in digital format in their backend system. • SolutionRSIC Survey counting templates allowing for the creation of counting applications, using hotkeys for incrementing or decrementing of values as well as the possibility to link datasets to GPS coordinates. By opting for the optional database integration, all gathered data is stored into the company database after completion by field personnel. Screenshot:

  8. Managing Expenses • ProblemLarge organization has a paper forms based way of processing expenses, where employees fill in a paper form, attach any receipts and send this to the accounting department for further processing and optional billing to external clients. Organization is looking for a way to optimize and speed up this process. • SolutionCreation of a simple expense template in RSIC Survey allowed the organization to add all necessary fields required for speedy internal processing and categorization. Expense reports are made in MS Excel format and sent to a dedicated e-mail address. By using a field reserved for referencing to paper receipts, all expense reports and related receipts can be put together easily. Screenshots:
