CCS NOTIFICATION LETTERS • CCS Invite Letter: Sent to all permanently separated claimants to attend CCS within three weeks • ROBO Call: Made to all permanently separate claimants that have not attended the CCS reminding them that they must attend the CCS by the end of the next week • REA Letter: Sent to all claimants automatically enrolled in REA that week (about 400 REA CLAIMANTS each week) informing them that they have been selected to participate in the REA Program and that they must attend the REA Review by four weeks from date of enrollment and that this is a mandatory requirement that if they fail to meet this requirement their unemployment will be delayed or stopped.
CCS NOTIFICATION LETTERS The CCS Invite letter informs the Claimant they must attend the CCS by 3 Weeks. Letters or Robo Calls are made to remind Claimants to attend CCS. If no phone or language other than English and Spanish second letter will be sent.
Selection REA Program From the letters that go out each week to Permanently Separated Claimants 400 REA Participants are selected. They have 3 weeks to attend the CCS.

UI Exemptions Claimants can not be exempt from the REA Program! Exemptions Claimants maybeexemptfrom Profiling by DUA Staff or Career Center Manager
UI Eligibility Individuals who do not attend or attain the REA Review or do not attain the REA goals identified on the CAP may be denied benefits if…. • DUA adjudication does not discover “good cause” for non attainment. • Please Note: Disqualification is for the one week during which the claimant failed to attend or attain their REA Review.

LANGUAGE SERVICES GUIDELINES FOR CAREER CENTER STAFF
Multilingual Services Unit Staff in need of assistance to communicate with Limited English Proficiency (LEP) customers can: • Contact the Multilingual Services Unit if the language needed is: Spanish, Portuguese, Vietnamese, Cantonese, Mandarin, Cape Verdean Creole, French, or Egyptian Arabic. • Contact the over-the-phone language line for assistance in other languages or when Multilingual Services Unit staff is not available. • For brief calls, contact a staff member on the Internal Volunteer Bilingual Staff list. You can find this list on the intranet at http://intranet.detma.org/multilingual under “For Career Centers.”
Multilingual Services Unit The Multilingual Services Unit office hours are: Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. If a Multilingual Services Unit staff member is not available, please leave a message or, if immediate assistance is required, call the over-the-phone language line.

Notification to Attend CCS • Applicant is sent a letter to attend a Career Center Seminar (CCS)
CCS Event Attendance List – Still Enrolled in REA Notice the REA Icon • Prior to recording attendance notice if the REA Icon is present. If yes, currently enrolled in REA
REA Icon – CCS Event Participation Applicant attends a Career Center Seminar • If Selected for REA the REA icon will appear upon recording CCS attendance • Enrollment in REA Program starts the date of CCS Attendance Prompt Recording of Attendance is Critical.
REA Enrollment Qualifications • Enrollment in the REA Program is automatic when attendance at a CCS is recorded: • If the participant is NOT Profiled; and • Weekly Career Center REA Limit has not been met

Career Objective on CAP (view only) • Use the Full Tab to update Career Objective and the indicator “Viewable to Employer on JobQuest” radio button. • The career objective is added or updated on the full tab.
