  2. Ultimate Goals Graduate 100% of our players with a 3.0 GPA or higher. Create a positive, disciplined, learning environment where each player will have the opportunity to reach his full potential. The foundation of the program revolves around discipline and accountability. Give every player that desires to play at the next level the opportunity to do so. (’06-’09 Seniors, Over 17 playing College Baseball)).

  3. Program Structure 2 Teams Varsity Team (9th-12th graders)‏ Junior Varsity Team (9th-10th) Decreased enrollment – extended JV schedule depending on number of freshman Between 15 – 20 per team

  4. Pre-season Workouts Strength and Conditioning (October 26th – Jan 22nd)‏ Agilities Attendance. 2 on 1 work Returning Pitchers Arm Conditioning Jan 4th – Jan 29th Returning Players Based on Invitation

  5. Official Tryouts February 1-3 (Mon - Weds)‏ All players are trying out for the SFHS Baseball Program. If you make it you will be placed on one of the two teams. Varsity immediately after School, JV 6:00PM 1st Cut: 2/4 (7:30 a.m.)‏ Other Cuts as needed during the week.

Summer Ball Program War Eagles Summer Ball Program (SSAA)‏ 1-2 teams: Varsity level (#'s determine team(s), rising 10th-11th)‏ 30+ Games (including 6 local tournaments)‏ Optional College Showcases Baseball 6 Days/Week Players are encouraged but not mandated to play for the War Eagles program in the summer. Individual improvement Team building Exposure

  7. Expectations for Players Conduct yourself in a first class manner at all times. Follow all team guidelines, regardless of in-season or off-season. Classroom expectations, grades, tardies, etc. Participate in all activities designed to help/promote the program. Fundraisers, community service.

  11. 2009/2010 Budget • Projected Figures: • Expenses : Costs to run program estimated at $ 50,000 - $60,000 • Capital expenditures estimated at $ 15,000 - $20,000 • (Includes 3rd side hitting facility, locker room, fencing in front dugouts, new wind screen) • Total Expenses: $65,000 - $80,000 • Revenue: • Carry Over from prior year: $28,000 • Projected Income: $68,000 • Total Income: $96,000

Fundraising Programs • Golf Outing – Friday October 23, 2009 (See Flyer) Need Help! • Christmas Trees – Begins 11/27 ( Frank Parker Chairman need transition person) • Coupon Rebate Program – Follow up meeting next month. • Starbucks Coffee – Suzanne Sforzo / Joan Ross • Family Contribution - $650 increase from last year due to decrease in sponsorship still lower than almost all other AAAAA schools. • Encore Park – Suzanne Sforzo transition from Lora Olvaney • Concession stand at field – Joan /Lamar Ross All parents expected to help work • Sprit Wear – Steve Cooley
