Many died working on it. • THE GREAT WALL of CHINA is the only manmade structure which is said to be visible from SPACE

The Petra-Jordan • It was an old city made by an ARABIC TRIBE. • It is in JORDAN. • It is MADEfrom the ROSE-RED SANDSTONE. • It is also called THE ROSE-RED CITY. • It was kept SECRET from the MODERN WORLD. • In 1812, it was RE-DISCOVERED • It is known for its ARCHITECTURE and WATER SYSTEM. • Petra is an EXAMPLE of BEAUTY and CREATIVE ENGINEERING.
