  2. Brief Overview • Centralized information from five major sources: BBC, CNN, FOX, NPR, and NY Times • Retrieves updated headline news articles with every run of the program • Utilizes XML code along with RSS feeds to generate files containing information from various sources

  3. XML and RSS • Used on sites which require continual updating • Agencies can provide feeds for reading • Store feeds from different agencies into separate files for reference • Parse XML code to obtain pertinent information

  4. Graphical User Interface • Allow user to select from the different agencies • Display major headlines from that agency • Allow user to select article • Display article description along with article in its entirety
