  2. Bar Graph • a graph that uses bars to show data

  3. Scale • the numbers on a bar graph that help you read the number each bar shows

  4. Horizontal Bar Graph • a bar graph in which the bars go from left to right

  5. Vertical Bar Graph • a bar graph in which the bars go up from the bottom to the top.

  6. Vertical Axis • information on the left side of a graph going up and down

  7. Horizontal Axis • Information going left to right.

  8. Axis Labels • Labels of the information displayed on the axis

  9. Graph Title • Tells what the graph is about.

  10. Red Blue Green Key: 5 votes Pictograph • A graph using symbols to display data. Favorite Colors

  11. Red Blue Green Key: 5 votes Symbol • A picture that represents data on a pictograph. Favorite Colors

  12. Red Blue Green Key: 5 votes Pictograph Key • Shows the value of each symbol on the pictograph. Favorite Colors

  13. Line Graph • a graph that uses a line to show how data change over time.

  14. Trends • areas on a graph where data increase, decrease, or stay the same over time.

  15. Grid • horizontal and vertical lines on a map

  16. Ordered Pair   • a pair of numbers that names a point on a grid. Example:(1,2) represents 1 unit to the right of zero and 2 units up.
