  3. Predicate Adjectives • An adjective that is in the predicate and that describes the subject • It is connected to the subject by a linking verb • It can ONLY be an ADJECTIVE that describes the SUBJECT of the sentence

  4. Examples • Cold milk tastes good on a hot day. • The pita bread was light and delicious. • How kind are you! *Rephrase this one to a statement: - You are kind.
