  3. The RAPC Protector unit is a highly rugged solution. It is designed to be used in many military applications such as ground vehicles for navigation, tactical information management , Fire Control Systems and communications.

  4. The RAPC system meets the specific requirements such as Temperature, Humidity, Altitude, Sand, Dust, High Shock and Vibration Resistance. RAPC systems also use a fully validated software and hardware platform meeting all military standards.

  5. The Protector’s base as well as all internal components are mounted on a patented shock mounted system which can be mounted horizontal or vertical. The 6” tall, 8” wide, and 10” long Protector replaces the racks shown.

  6. Protector includes two separate processors. The Protector system can run a (TIMP) Tactical Information Management Program using Windows XP and a (FCSP) Fire Control System Program using lynx at the same time on one compact rugged system. The systems also ensure reliable performance for the critical computing environments of defense applications including data acquisition, C4I and GPS.

  7. As a standalone in-vehicle device, it enables AVL, fleet management and real-time dispatch applications. Its digital interfaces enable a host of applications to communicate.
