Key Findings • More than half of the respondents feel that conducting Face to Face training session is the best way for the • industry to support them • Almost 3 out of 5 respondents need Product training to offer proper patient recommendation and also consider • it as an influential recommendation factor • Almost 2 out of 3 respondents feel that training material should reflect Product Benefits for patients • Overall, respondents have ranked Simulation of real life situations as the best training support from industry • followed by Case studies • However, respondents who are working in a pharmacy for over 6 months have ranked Case studies • as best training support followed by Supportive data from clinical trial • Respondents expects more collaboration and interaction with industry in terms of providing them training, • Internships, latest/ updated information etc. as an outcome of their partnership with industry

  12. Expectations from Industry: Verbatim Comments I expect a good relationship which encourages all pharmacists to keep on learning and facilitates easy access to new information and skills.. I would like take part of the Industry because working together, pharmacists could develop their knowledge in this area. Furthermore, case studies and medicinal products provide progress that after could have an impact on patients. More transparency, more involvement of the community pharmacist in the industry decision. The industry should give pharmacists the possibility to participate in patient-based projects, which are funded or organised by the pharmaceutical industry. They should also train pharmacists in objectives that the companies know al their keypoints Giving some clues and advices, share knowledge and experience and psychological aspect of pharmacy working things that you cant learn at university. In a future, I wonder I will a connection between Industry and patients, giving them the best proposal concerned on new therapeutical medicaments Exhaustive List Q6.
