A World Without Sight Intro: What is life like for a person that cannot see. How do they develop from birth and how does society help and view them? Expectations: You are a parent who has recently had a child born with blindness. You wish for your child to live the most normal life that is possible. Investigate how to accomplish this. Process/Tasks: Identify the problems that may come up throughout childhood. Identify what schools handle children with blindness and how? How you can teach them at home as well. What possibilities does your child have in society after childhood? Assessment: Write a two page response of the difficulties and answers to raising a child with this disability.
