  2. Characters • Willow. Willow is the main character and is a very nice person, with a odd personality. • Richard. Richard has a crush on Willow’s best friend Kaylie, and always wants to be around Kaylie. • Kaylie. Kaylie is very popular, and is Willow’s best friend. • Grandma. Grandma is Willow’s Grandma.

Characters (continued) • Grandpa: He is Willow’s grandpa. • Zana: Zana is Willow’s sister and is scared of the sled dogs that her family owns. • Dad: “Dad” is Willow and Zana’s father, and lets willow go on a sled ride on her own to her grandpa, and grandma’s house. • Mom: “Mom” is willow and Zana’s Mother, and lets Willow go on a sled ride on her own to her grandpa, and grandma’s house.

  4. Plot Line • Resolution: Roxy heals from her injury and Willow becomes popular. • Climax: When Willow ran away to help save Roxy with Kaylie. When they tried to get Roxy to her Grandmas. • Rising action: The rising action is when Willow and her friend Kaylie ditch school to save Roxy.

  5. Plot Line (cont) • Setting: It is in a remote part of Alaska. There is a bunch of snow everywhere. Basically the only way to travel is by dog sled, snowmobile, or other snow vehicles because of the snow. • Falling Action: The falling action is Diamond and her family head back to their house after they say they can keep Roxy.

  6. Summary Diamond willow is about a girl named willow. She has a few friends and howls like a dog. Her parents let her ride to her grandparents house and all goes well on the way there, but on the way back to her house it is a disaster. She is going too fast and cant slow down fast enough and hits a fallen tree. It makes her lead dog goes blind and she hurts her leg when she tries to get to Roxy. Diamond’s parents decide to put the dog down and Diamond tries to save Roxy. Read the book to find out more.
