Economic Developmentin JHARKHAND • Mineral wealth • No. 1 state in mineral resource • The present Rs. 3000 crores production needs to be doubled in the next four years. • Efforts should be made to open the 108 coal mines which were in operation before. Private sector participation can be explored • Infrastructure • Balance villages should be electrified on time bound manner • Present installed capacity of 2590 MW, must be doubled in next 4 years time. • Surplus power can be sold to other states • Road connectivity needs augmentation and quality of Road to be improved. www.presidentofindia.nic.in
