  2. I. So what defiles us? • Is it assortment of these things? Hatred, money, lust, greed, jealousy, pride, anger, envy, rebellion, unbelief? • This is all just sin. • What is the source? Where does it come from? • What can be done about it?

  3. II. What horrible beast raised its ugly head in the midst of a mighty working of God? • Religious hypocrisy caused by a serious heart condition. Isa 29:13, Jeremiah 17: 9,10

  5. IV. What are some symptoms of a heart problem? • Condemnation of others • No awareness of our own sin • No remorse for our own sin • No action sought to rectify our sin
