  2. 2011 LOFT Best In Class Grant Application Sponsored by LOFT and the Kids In Need Foundation Purpose of Grants: to fund projects that make creative use of common teaching aids, approach curriculum from an imaginative angle, or tie nontraditional concepts together for the purpose of illustrating commonalities.

  3. Evaluation • Innovation and merit account for 40% • Objectives 20% • Feasibility 20% • Evaluation instrument 10% • Budget 10%

  4. Kids In Need Grant • K-12 public schools • Certified Teacher • 100 teachers will receive between $100 and $500 • Deadline is December 9, 2011 • Notification of award will be February 1, 2012

  5. ArtSkills ArtSkills is sending each teacher who applies for a Kids In Need Teacher Grant a package of bulletin board and poster supplies valued at $25 (1 package per teacher)

  8. More Information: • When receiving this grant…you give Kids In Needs permission to publish your project • The End Project paperwork must be completed by August 1, 2012 • NEW IDEA • Project should not have been previously funded
