  2. General context Water resources ofMoldova: • 3621 rivers and rills with total length about 16.000 km, • 4117 natural lakes and artificial ponds, • 7.000 fountains • 166.500 wells of groundwater. • 13,2 bill.m3- surface of water resources • 2,8 bill. m3 - reserves of groundwater
