TeraGrid Organization • Resource Providers (RPs): the institutions that provide the computing, storage, and visualization resources of the TeraGrid • Grid Infrastructure Group (GIG): central planning, reporting, coordination, facilitation, and management group for the TeraGrid • Working Groups (WGs): Each working group is under a GIG Area Director (AD), includes RP representatives and/or users, and focuses on a targeted area of TeraGrid

Communications • TeraGrid Round Table Meeting • Bi-weekly for members of all TeraGrid groups via Access Grid • Rotating presentations from Working Groups, Resource Providers, or others with information of general interest across the TeraGrid • GIG Area Director Calls • Weekly call for GIG administration and Area Directors • Coordinates GIG activities • TG Forum Call • Bi-weekly call for GIG Area Directors and RP Primary Investigators (PIs) or site leads • Coordinates across GIG and RPs • Working Groups • Periodic calls conducted by each Working Group to coordinate the Working Group activities • Supports regular communication via e-mail and TG wiki

Communications(2) • TeraGrid Quarterly Management Meetings • Two day meetings in March, June, September, and December for GIG and Forum staff, Area Directors, RP PIs or site leads, and any other interested TG stakeholders • Coordinates activities across GIG and RPs, including annual and quarterly planning and reporting. • Quarterly Allocation Meetings • Two day meetings in March, June, September, and December for TRAC peer reviewers and TeraGrid representatives • Reviews and decides on TeraGrid resource allocation proposals received through allocations requests

Communications(3) • TeraGrid Annual Conference (TGxy) • Five day conference each June open to all TeraGrid participants and the scientific and educational communities • Showcases the capabilities, achievements, and impact of TeraGrid in research and education through presented papers, demonstrations, posters, and visualizations • Science Advisory Board Meeting • Two day meeting each January and June of the joint TeraGrid / NSF science community Advisory Board • Reviews TeraGrid accomplishments and plans to obtain feedback from the scientific community

Reporting • Integrated Program Plan (IPP): primary output of the yearly TeraGrid planning process that documents the objectives, budget, and activities for the next project year for the GIG and the RPs • Work Breakdown Structure (WBS): part of the IPP that lists milestones and resources for all planned TeraGrid activities • Quarterly Reports: report by Area of TeraGrid activities during the previous quarter (1, 2, and 3) of the calendar year • Annual Report and Program Plan: comprehensive report of TeraGrid activities during the previous calendar year and plan for the next project year • Monthly Resource Provider System Statistics reports
