  3. BlueAccount HSA Accessing the Highmark website & Opening Your HSA

  4. Access www.highmarkbcbs.com Click “Members” tab to proceed to the Log-In / Registration page

  5. Enter User ID & Password in the Log In box, or For new registrants click “Register Now” New Registrants will receive a PIN to allow complete site access Getting started is easy! Log-In & Registration Page

  6. Registration Page Have your Highmark ID Card available and complete this simple page to Register on the site

  7. How to open an HSA As soon as Registration is complete, The member may click on the “Your Spending” tab Remember, you must be enrolled in the HDHP and have opened your HSA before expenses may be reimbursed on a tax-advantaged basis.

  8. Your Spending From this page you may: Access your “Bank” account Justify HSA transactions Link to a variety of Spending Account resources Scroll down to the “Open a Health Savings Account”

  9. BNY Mellon Application The Online Application will appear. The Introduction contains general information and disclosure of the monthly fees. To continue, the member clicks upon the “Apply Online Now” link. Here they will specify contribution and reimbursement preferences and indicate beneficiaries.

  14. Claim Activity And, from this page you may: View medical and pharmacy claims Download EOB’s & EOP’s Request reimbursement

  15. BlueAccount HSA Managing Your HSA

  16. Manage Your BlueAccount HSA From the Account Overview page you may check your account balance, and the rate of interest available through the FDIC portion of the account. On the left are links to many account resources.

  17. HSA Account Overview Scrolling down on this page shows the available mutual fund options and the value of each. A fund prospectus and information sheet may be downloaded.

  18. Disbursement Methods When you established your HSA, you elected preferences that direct withdrawal options. This page will show you the preferences you selected.

  19. Redeem Function Use the Redeem function to request reimbursement for non-plan expenses such as out-of-pocket vision and/or dental expenses. Remember to keep a copy of the bill and the Explanation of Payment with your tax records.
