  2. Class Procedures • No food or drink in the computer lab. • No visits to Internet sites without guidance to do so. • At the end of class, quit out of all programs, then log out and shut down. • Return keyboard and mouse. • Push in your chair before leaving.

Tutorial • Here is a tutorial! • Pop Quiz: • In Excel, what is a column? • Where are the rows in Excel? • Is this what we mean by a cell? • What are the benefits of using Excel over a paper & pencil ledger? • How could Excel be useful to you?   4. Bingo! • Open a new Excel document. • From the FILE MENU, select SAVE AS. • Name your file excel_bingo • Save it to your desktop. • Follow the directions - your bingo board will look like the one on the overhead (you will receive a copy of this in class).
