  1. WHEN CHRISTIANS GET IT WRONG

  2. When Christians act judgmental, hypocritical, insensitive, and mean spirited, they are acting in an UN-Christian way. Every Christian gets it wrong sometime. UnChristian Christians stand out because even non-Christians know that they are not living in a way that is consistent with the teachings of Jesus. How come non-Christians can tell when we are not following Christ’s teachings, but we can’t?

  3. There are countless Christians who seek to live authentic lives of faith, Read Galatians 5:22-23 There are many who get it right although they may not be as vocal as others and they are not perfect.

  4. Read John 15:1-6 What do these verses tell you? For a Christian, what is considered fruit? The nourishment for the branches comes through the vine, through Christ, through the Holy Spirit. As you reflect on your life, what fruit have you produced and what is keeping you from producing more fruit?

  5. Read James 2:20-26 What do these verses say to you? What do you see as the relationship between faith, works, and fruit? Examining your life and your relationships with others how is the combination of faith, works and fruit working out in your life?

  6. Read Galatians 3:1-3 and 5:1 and 5:13-14 What is this slavery Paul refers to? Paul is referring to slavery to the law. Christ has set you free. Don’t get hung up on the law, let the Holy Spirit work through you.

  7. Those who get it right - • Are compassionate • They live and give sacrificially to others • They volunteer their time to visit the sick, serve the poor, encourage the discouraged • They work for justice • They genuinely love people • They demonstrate kindness • They befriend those outside the church Only you know if you are getting it right.

  8. If you get it right, then people will be drawn to, rather than repelled by, your faith
