  3. 1. I AM CHOSEN, PREDESTINED, ANDDEARLY LOVED BY GOD • “Whoever has My commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves Me. He who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I too will love him and show Myself to him” (John 14:21). • “No, the Father Himself loves you because you have loved Me and have believed that I came from God” (John 16:27).

  4. “For He chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight. In love He predestined usto be adopted as His sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with His pleasure and will” (Eph. 1:4-5). • “Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience” (Col. 3:12). • “For we know, brothers loved by God, that He has chosen you…” (I Thess. 1:4).

I AM BAPTIZED, SEALED ANDANOINTED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT • “For we were all baptized by one Spirit into one body - whether Jews or Greeks, slave or free - and we were all given the one Spirit to drink” (I Cor. 12:13). • “Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us…” (II Cor. 1:21).

  9. 4. I AM BORN OF GOD AND THE EVIL ONE CANNOT TOUCH ME • “We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin; the One who was born of God keeps him safe, and the evil one cannot harm him” (I John 5:18). Remember this is true unless we are in a place of disobedience!

  10. 5. I AM A CHILD OF GOD THROUGHSPIRITUAL ADOPTION • “Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in His Name, He gave the right to become children of God” (John 1:12). • “The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children”(Rom. 8:16).

  11. “He predestined us to be adopted as His sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with His pleasure and will” (Eph. 1:5). • “How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know Him” (I John 3:1). • Those who are adopted are especially chosen in love!

  12. 6. I AM A PARTAKER OF THE DIVINE NATURE (ZOE) • “Through these He has given us His very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires” (II Pet. 1:4).

  13. 7. I AM A NEW CREATION • “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!” (II Cor. 5:17)

I AM CRUCIFIED, RESURRECTED ANDSEATED WITH CHRIST IN HEAVEN • But because of His great love for us, God, Who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions - it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus” (Eph. 2:4-6). • “Since you died with Christ to the basic principles of this world, why, as though you still belonged to it, do you submit to its rules” (Col. 2:20).

  15. 9. I AM A JOINT-HEIR WITH CHRIST ANDBLESSED WITH EVERY SPIRITUAL BLESSING • “Now if we are children, then we are heirs - heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in His sufferings in order that we may also share in His glory” (Rom. 8:17).

Just as you used to offer the parts of your body in slavery to impurity and to ever-increasing wickedness, so now offer them in slavery to righteousness leading to holiness. When you were slaves to sin, you were free from the control of righteousness. What benefit did you reap at that time from the things you are now ashamed of? Those things result in death! But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves to God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life” (Rom. 6:18-22).

  42. 1. I AM A MEMBER OF CHRIST’S BODY • “Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it” (I Cor. 12:27). • “for we are members of His body” (Eph. 5:30).

  43. 2. I AM FIRMLY ROOTED AND BEING BUILT UP IN CHRIST • “…rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness”(Col. 2:7).

  44. 3. I AM A FELLOW-CITIZEN WITH THE APOSTLES AND PROPHETS • “…built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus Himself as the chief cornerstone” (Eph. 2:20).

  45. 4. I AM A LIVING STONE BEING BUILT INTO A SPIRITUAL HOUSE • “you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ” (I Pet. 2:5). • “For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, God’s building” (I Cor. 3:9).

  46. 5. I AM A PART OF GOD’S HOUSEHOLD • “Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with God’s people and members of God’s household” (Eph. 2:19).

I AM A ROYAL PRIEST AND HOLY NATION • "you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ…But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light” (I Pet. 2:5, 9).

I HAVE DIRECT ACCESS TO GOD THROUGH HIS SPIRIT AND CRY, “ABBA FATHER” • “For through Himwe both have access to the Father by one Spirit” (Eph. 2:18). • “For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by Himwe cry, ‘Abba, Father’” (Rom. 8:15). • “…that we might receive the full rights of sons. Because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, ‘Abba, Father’” (Gal. 4:5-6).

  49. 8. I AM ABLE TO APPROACH GOD BODLY WITH FREEDOM AND CONFIDENCE • “For through Himwe both have access to the Father by one Spirit” (Eph. 2:18). • “In Him and through faith in Himwe may approach God with freedom and confidence” (Eph. 3:12).

  50. “Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has gone through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have One Who has been tempted in every way, just as we are - yet was without sin. Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need” (Heb. 4:14-16).
