  3. Gaia • Greek and Latin translation of words • “A Greek and Roman goddess, also known as the Earth Mother”[1] • Looks and sounds unique and attractive • Criteria; - easy to read - easy to remember - easy to pronounce in any language [1] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gaia

  4. Explore your planet • Focuses on our capabilities than our product • Straightforward to the consumer/viewer • Will be used on the campaign site (see Mock-ups) • Concept; one will explore the planet, the earth, different countries by using our navigation software

  5. Design • Important in building brand awareness for the costomer • We took use of characteristics of Modernism • Other ideas of logos • One of the four windows in Windows logo

Design • Little round circle in the corner, the earth • We adapted the G in the logo to an arrow • Indicating travelling to certain location • Sans Serif font, Humanst531 BT “serif type, connotes timeless, stability and classicism, elegance and sense of history”[2] [2] Logo Sharx, Logo Tips; http://www.logosharx.com/contact/home.htm

Colours • Blue colour, Microsoft and Lonely Planet • Will help by creating a strong image in order to sell the product • “Blue colour, signifies the following: sky, sea, water, peace, faith, stability, trust, loyalty, wisdom, tranquillity and integrity”[3] • Black and White are neutral, gives the blue colour attention [3] Colours meaning; http://graphicdesign.about.com/od/color/a/colormeanings.htm

  8. Design approaches • PLC (Product Life Cycle), we are in the introduction stage • Create awareness for the campaign • We applied the logo in different approaches - backpacks, t-shirts, cups, letterhead ect.

  9. Conclusion • Suggestion: - Create more attention for certain target groups by using the same logo in a different situation, like changing the colours. • We created a new logo and a slogan • We implemented modern style from both companys • Our logo is a visual idendity of everything our product stands for Thank you for your attention, Elva c”,)
