  2. PURPOSE To inform the Commander and Staff of the 52nd ID(M) of the functions of the Directorate of Logistics (DOL) and Directorate of Engineering and Housing (DEH) at Fort Riley

  4. ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE Fort Riley is structured according to AR 5-3, which sets out this structure: NB: Under AR 5-3, Installation Commanders have the option of combining DOL and DEH into a Directorate of Installation Support

  17. SUMMARY • Fort Riley’s installation structure is set up according to AR 5-3 • DOL and DEH are both directly responsible to the Garrison Commander • DOL handles all logistics functions • DEH handles all life support functions

  18. CONCLUSION • Any issues in logistics should be handled through DOL • Any issues in life support should be handled through DEH • The Garrison Commander is the appropriate authority for resolving conflicts with or between the two directorates
