The BFG is a book with excitement all the way through. It even has Roald Dahl’s grand daughter Sophie Dahl in it.
The main character is the BFG – which stands for Big Friendly Giant. He is a normal giant but he doesn’t eat humans, he looks after them. He always gets his words muddled up and instead of cucumber he has some snozz-cumber.
Sophie is a very strange girl who lives in a boarding school. The BFG takes her to his big cave. They have lots of fun and lots of adventures together. Lots of other giants smell her out and try to get her but the BFG keeps her out of reach. I would recommend this book to both boys and girls aged 9 and upwards because it does have some hard words in it.
I’LL STOP RIGHT THERE ! ! !
