Overview of the training session: Navigate the challenges of working, traveling and living in this state What you should do when a tornado hits, what sirens and warnings mean, and when you are most likely to encounter a twister Safety on Minnesota’s lake and rivers, including when currents are dangerously strong, and when ice is dangerously thin Learn about the dangers of extreme temperatures including hypothermia and frostbite during winter, and heat exhaustion during summer Learn the important weather terminology that will help you get the best of your local weather reports You will walk away informed, enlightened and excited about Minnesota’s unique and challenging weather!
