Purpose Cardiology for the Primary Care Physician: Optimizing Treatment for the Cardiovascular Patient is planned to provide a forum to introduce primary care physicians and other healthcare providers to the American College of Cardiology guidelines and to promote their utilization. The goal is for attendees to gain knowledge of the best practices and state of the art guidelines for the diagnosis and management of cardiovascular diseases.
