In arecentstudythatwaspublishedin thejournalClinicalCancerResearch byBWHInvestigators, exploredthat factthatwhetherornotabloodtest canhelpindetectingthehigher levelsofKIM-1inthepatientswho mightdeveloptherisksof developingkidneycancer –after around5years. Theresultsofthe studyrevealthatKIM-1biomarker helpedinsubstantiallydistinguishing betweenthosewhohadtherisksof developingkidneycancerandthose whodidnot.
