  1. Volunteer Programme 2014 The Ranger Service are offering the following programme of public volunteering afternoons. We provide all tools and training. Everyone is welcome and we will have jobs to suit all abilities, young and old! All you need are clothes to suit the changeable Scottish weather and some stout footwear. All sessions run from 1pm-3pm Middleton Community Woods http://www.dundeecity.gov.uk/rangerservice/middleton Help to maintain this young woodland. Jobs may include pruning, planting and tidying up. Meet at the carpark off Duntrune Road, next to the green portacabin. 19th January, 16th March Broughty Ferry Local Nature Reserve http://www.dundeecity.gov.uk/rangerservice/bfnature Help keep the reserve blooming. Jobs may include scrub removal, grass raking and seed planting. Meet at the old railway arch off The Esplanade. 16thFebruary, 13th April Templeton Woods http://www.dundeecity.gov.uk/rangerservice/templetonwoods Help the native flora and fauna in this mature woodland. Jobs may include invasive species removal, bird box building and tidying up. Meet at the layby on Coupar Angus Rd, across from the Camperdown Park North Entrance. 2nd February, 30th March Trottick Mill Ponds Local Nature Reserve http://www.dundeecity.gov.uk/rangerservice/trottickponds Help with education on the reserve. Jobs may include installing interpretation, painting new fences and scrub removal.
