DSP and Wireless infrastructure Developed all of Freescale’s (& Motorola) DSPs Our DSP’s were the basis for the wireless handset business (that is no longer part of Freescale portfolio) These days the team is focusing on completing the latest DSP core and building the highest performing SOC for wireless base-stations (B4860) Product defined and developed in Israel are used across all this product line from femto cell to macro cell base station. In addition to the DSP itself the team develops also the modem IP accelerator(s) and the L1 SW This activity will significantly ramp down in Israel during 2013. Since the company decided to stop developing new DSP and SoC’s for Macro base stations
