  2. I can statement/agenda Today, 6/5, I can… • Know: Analyze “Part-Time Indian” by answering our essential questions. • Do: Use teacher model to draft claim paragraphs. Agenda • Warm up: 5 minutes • Review of your task/cover examples: 5 minutes • Drafting/work time: 35 minutes

  3. Your task… • Finish typing your paragraphs • See Ms. Anna to have your paragraphs printed • Draw your cover (don’t forget to add name, date, class period/teacher)

I can statement/agenda Today, 6/5, I can… • Know: Use persuasive appeal in order to convince my audience to believe my argument. • Do: Draft my POTM visual project. • Agenda • Warm up: 5 minutes • Announcements/review POTM revisions: 5 minutes • Review rubric and planning page: 5 minutes • Planning/work time: 30 minutes • Break • Work time/ turn in projects: 40 minutes • Clean up/exit slip: 5 minutes

POTM presentation • Step 1: complete project • Use the rubric to verify that you have followed all directions • Complete pink rubric and put in HW tray • Step 2: revise with a neighbor • Step 3: report to Ms. Anna • Ms. Anna needs to know what you did for your project • Also, where is your project saved • Step 4: silent read civil rights book
