  3. What is Virtual VITA? An club in California that prepares taxes for tech companies. An innovative method for free tax preparation assistance involving two components – an Intake Site and a Preparation Site – when face-to-face assistance is not readily available. A popular meditation method used by tax preparers to get ready for tax season. One of the top 10 selling video games in 2011

  4. Not Exactly… Although there are many tech companies in California none of them have their taxes prepared by an club called Virtual VITA.

  5. Not Likely…So Try Again Tax season might be a lot of hard work, but no one prepares for it using a meditation method called “Virtual VITA.”

  7. CONGRATULATIONS… You are correct!!! CORRECT – The Virtual VITA model advocates an innovative method that incorporates two components, an Intake Site and a Preparation Site. • The Intake Siteis located in the hard to reach area or at a site lacking the necessary resources for traditional VITA. The taxpayer comes to the Intake Site and completes the Form 13614-C, Intake/Interview and Quality Review Sheet, and provides all the source documents needed to complete an accurate tax return. The staff at the Intake Site will fax, e-mail or mail copies of the taxpayer’s documents and Form 13614-C to the Preparation Site. • The Preparation Site, staffed with IRS certified volunteers, will communicate directly with the taxpayer while completing the tax return. The tax return will be faxed, e-mailed or mailed back to the taxpayer for review. A certified volunteer will quality review the tax return while communicating directly with the taxpayer.
